From the very beginning of his administration, Pres. Obama has been fighting an uphill battle with the GOP. Regardless of the make nice words from the minority whips and leaders of both houses of congress, it is evident that it will be nothing but confrontation after confrontation. The Repubs have said it clearly that they want the president to succeed and that they are looking forward to working with him, but so far they have shown nothing but contempt for him and his attempts to try and use a bipartisan approach.
The cowards will not admit that they want Obama to fail and that they are willing to have him do so at the expense of the nation’s economy. The GOP and its talk show pundits are willing to have Americans lose jobs and homes and meals all in the name of partisan politics with the hopes that a presidential failure will return them to power in Congress.
Nothing is more important to the GOP than their position of power. And NOTHING will get in their way of their return to power, including the American people and their livelihood. The economy is being used as a weapon of mass destruction against the Dems and most importantly against Obama. They, the GOP, has no plan, other than their tired old tactics of the past, tax cuts, to offer the people, so they will attack everything tried by the new president in the hopes that something negative will stick. Even to go so far as to use a fictitious CBO report to make their case–in other words they will LIE to get their attack on.
But Wait! Did I call the Repubs cowards? Yes I did! And I will bet you would like me to justify that accussation…..alrighty then….The GOP is putting political party and the grab for power over the well-being of the economy and country…that is a cowardly thing to do. There is a time and a place for such a political war and now is neither the time or the place.
